AOC Takes Brutal Blow As Her Own Party Rescinds Endorsement

The New Atlantis

All of a sudden, the ringleader of the “Squad” is being out-flanked by the far left.

That’s the message being sent by the Democratic Socialists of America, who on Wednesday rescinded their endorsement of progressive icon Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) after condemning her for hosting several progressive Israel supporters who encouraged the left to tamp down on its antisemitic rhetoric. A panel hosted last month included Jewish Council for Public Affairs CEO Amy Spitalnick and Stacy Burdett, a former Anti-Defamation League and U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum official. Their inclusion was enough for the DSA to drop AOC after endorsing her previous reelection bids.

VOTE NOW: Do you blame BIDEN or TRUMP for the crashing economy?

In a statement to Jewish Insider, the DSA’s National Political Committee said the Bronx Democrat failed to meet endorsement criteria it set out during a June 23rd meeting, including demands that Ocasio Cortez publicly oppose all support for Israel, including for Iron Dome; oppose “all criminalization of anti-Zionism,” especially a definition of antisemitism pushed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance; and publicly support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement “to end Israeli settler-colonialism.” The DSA added it had “not seen evidence of AOC meeting these conditions.”

In addition, the group said, many members are “demanding that AOC demonstrate a higher level of commitment to Palestinian liberation, self-determination, and the immediate end to the heinous genocide in Gaza committed by Israel.”

AOC, now in her third term, has walked a fine line between calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war and urging her supporters to refrain from veering their discourse into open hostility toward Jewish people and organizations. The New York lawmaker said during her forum that yes, antisemitism on the left is present, but that bad actors on the right are also making “false accusations of antisemitism” to sow further division. That statement didn’t sit well with the Jewish community online, the Insider added.

“This sponsorship [of the webinar] is a deep betrayal to all those who’ve risked their welfare to fight Israeli apartheid and genocide through political and direct action in recent months, and in decades past,” the DSA statement declared.

The congresswoman declined to comment on the rescinded endorsement, but Spitalnick clapped back for her, telling the outlet, “The fact that our — nuanced, complex, and frank — conversation on antisemitism is somehow beyond the pale for DSA should tell you everything you need to know.”

Last month, fellow Squad member Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) lost his Democratic primary to a moderate Westchester Democrat who drew deep support from the district’s Jewish community, including members who anonymously trashed Rep. Bowman for asking them for staged photos so he could prove he has “Jewish friends” ahead of the election. Another member, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), is on track to lose her primary according to the latest polling.

‘The Shining’ Star Passes Away At 75 thumbnail

‘The Shining’ Star Passes Away At 75

The New Atlantis

Shelley Duvall, the actress who personified the quiet desperation of a wife married to her psychopathic husband in Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining,” has passed away at 75.

The New York Post reported on Duvall’s death resulting from a diabetes complication. Dan Gilroy, Duvall’s longtime husband, confirmed she passed away peacefully at her Texas. “My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend left us. Too much suffering lately, now she’s free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley,” Gilroy said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter.

VOTE NOW: Do you blame BIDEN or TRUMP for the crashing economy?

The Texas native got her big Hollywood break in 1970 when she met director Robert Altman at a party and accepted his offer to star in “Brewster McCloud,” marking her first on-screen role. “I simply got on a plane and did it. I was swept away,” she said in a past interview, the Post reported.

Duvall and Altman went on to work together on a number of projects over the course of her decades in film, including “McCabe and Mrs. Miller,” “Thieves Like Us,” “Nashville,” “Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bull’s History Lesson” and “3 Women.”

However, the actress’s defining role came in Kubrick’s 1980 psychological horror “The Shining,” an adaption of the eponymous novel by Stephen King set in a remote and deserted Colorado hotel. Jack Nicholson, who played her husband, tortured Duvall and their young son as he descended into madness brought on my ghosts at the hotel. In an iconic scene, Duvall cowers in the couple’s hotel bathroom while Nicholson’s character attempts to chop down the locked door with an ax, sticking his head through a hole and yelling the unforgettable phrase, “Here’s Johnny!”

One year after the film’s release, Duvall admitted that the role took an extremely heavy toll on her mental well-being. She was “crying 12 hours a day for weeks on end,” the actress told People in a 1981 interview. “I will never give that much again. If you want to get into pain and call it art, go ahead, but not with me,” Duvall added.

In 2021, Duvall shared even more insights into the disturbing project and her work with the iconic director.

“[Kubrick] doesn’t print anything until at least the 35th take. Thirty-five takes, running and crying and carrying a little boy, it gets hard,” she told the Hollywood Reporter. “And full performance from the first rehearsal. That’s difficult.”

She said before filming scenes she would “listen to sad songs. Or you just think about something very sad in your life or how much you miss your family or friends.”

Deep Red State’s Governor Will NOT Vote For Trump – After Pledging Support During Primary

Deep Red State’s Governor Will NOT Vote For Trump – After Pledging Support During Primary

The New Atlantis

A deep red state governor is backtracking on his pledge to support former President Donald Trump’s reelection bid, a shocking change of mind after announcing his support during the Republican primary season.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox made the announcement on CNN where he told host Kaitlan Collins he can no longer justify voting for Trump after winning his primary against pro-Trump challenger Phil Lyman.

VOTE NOW: Do you blame BIDEN or TRUMP for the crashing economy?

Referring to Republican voters, Cox stated, “They chose a candidate this time around that was not my first choice, wasn’t my choice last time either, but the party’s spoken and that’s why they have chosen so I’ve said I’m not going to vote for either presidential candidate this year, I’ll write somebody in as I’ve done in the past,” according to the Post Millennial.

Doubling down, Gov. Cox told Collins he has never voted for President Trump and last voted for a Republican presidential nominee in 2012 when Mitt Romney ran against former President Barack Obama during his reelection. “I’ve said before I haven’t voted for the top of the ticket since 2012. I’ve certainly had my concerns one of those is what happened on January 6,” the Utah governor added.

WATCH:

The Post reported on flare-ups during Cox’s Republican primary against Lyman when the two tangled over Utah’s sanctuary state designation by federal immigration officials. Lyman focused his effort to unseat Cox around the issue, putting the governor on the defense. During a town hall in March, Cox insisted that his opponent was attempting “to use fear and divisiveness to try to gain power,” according to the Utah News Dispatch.

“Utah’s ‘sanctuary’ status puts every single Utahn in unnecessary danger. Why has our governor been adamant in his claim that we are not a sanctuary state?” Lyman wrote on X in response.

Other points of contention included Gov. Cox’s decision to sign a law in May granting in-state tuition to illegal immigrants and his vetoing of a bill that would prevent biological men from competing in women’s sports.

President Trump withheld his endorsement during the gubernatorial primary despite Cox affirming his support for Nikki Haley and declaring that the GOP would be making a “huge mistake” if they nominated the former president, according to Deseret News. He remains an outlier among his peers; 20 of the nation’s 26 Republican governors have pledged to vote for Trump in November.

NEW: AOC Files Impeachment Articles Against Supreme Court Justices Thomas, Alito

The New Atlantis

Progressive Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) on Wednesday filed a motion to begin impeachment proceedings against Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, two of the court’s staunchest conservatives and frequent targets of the far left.

The filing comes after the high court has largely completed announcing a slew of decisions that have oscillated between wins for both the left and right, though progressives like AOC have continued to keep Alito, Thomas, and the court’s conservative majority in their sights. A steady drip of reporting over the past year has tied Thomas to several of the Republican Party’s most prolific billionaire donors, raising questions about how the Supreme Court enforces its ethics rules. The filing also mirrors a motion put forward by Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) requesting the Department of Justice appoint a special counsel to criminally investigate Thomas, according to MSNBC. They have cited his acceptance of travel and loan of a luxury car.

VOTE NOW: Are You In Favor Of Term Limits For All Members Of Congress?

A simple majority in the U.S. House may pass articles of impeachment against a Supreme Court justice, teeing up a formal trial in the Senate. However, Republicans’ control of the lower body means AOC’s motion is all but dead on arrival. Under Democrats, the Senate previously held impeachment hearings against former President Donald Trump.

Similar to Thomas, Alito has been accused of accepting financial gifts without properly disclosing them, including in some cases by individuals with business before the court. AOC has accused Alito, appointed in 2005 by former President George W. Bush, of failing to recuse himself from cases where she claims he has a conflict of interest, MSNBC added.

WATCH:

Only one Supreme Court justice has ever been impeached. In 1805, Associate Justice Samuel Chase was impeached by the House, according to Fox 5 San Diego. Chase at the time was accused of refusing to dismiss biased jurors while excluding and limiting defense witnesses in political cases. He was acquitted about a year later and remained on the court until his death in 1811, the outlet added.

In June, justices ruled that sitting and former presidents are largely protected from criminal prosecution over official acts taken in office, largely vindicating arguments made by attorneys for former President Donald Trump. The decision rocked Washington and has thrown his remaining three criminal trials into chaos, with all expected to be delayed well past the November election. Should Trump win, he would hold the power to order the DOJ to drop both federal cases against him. In Georgia, a state-level prosecution of election interference has been badly hampered by unforced errors committed by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

While the motion may be good politics for Democrats, it wasn’t enough for Rep. Ocasio Cortez to save her endorsement from the far left. On Wednesday the Democratic Socialists of America rescinded their June 23rd endorsement of the progressive darling, citing an online forum she held with several progressive Israel supporters who denounced antisemitism among progressive activists. Meanwhile, consternation over President Joe Biden’s ability to win the election has thrown his party into free fall as leading figures, including former President Barack Obama, appear cautious to limit calls for him to end his reelection bid.

JUST IN: Obama ‘Greenlit’ Clooney’s Shocking Op-Ed Calling For Biden To Step Aside

The New Atlantis

Evidence is emerging that former President Barack Obama gave the green light to actor George Clooney before he submitted a devastating op-ed to the New York Times calling for President Joe Biden to end his reelection bid.

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough said as much on Thursday, claiming the 44th president is believed to be “working behind the scenes” to “orchestrate” Biden’s departure from the race. The revelation comes from a scoop by Politico revealing that Clooney spoke privately with the former president ahead of the piece being published earlier this week.

“I’ll say one thing that we do have to underline here so viewers can follow what’s going on behind the scenes, is the Biden campaign and many Democratic officials do believe that Barack Obama is quietly working behind the scenes to orchestrate this,” Scarborough claimed next to a stunned Mika Brzezinski.

WATCH:

Politico’s morning newsletter outlined the details of the private Clooney-Obama call in which the Hollywood A-lister gave Obama a heads up that he was about to rescind his support for President Biden’s campaign. Just weeks earlier, Clooney hosted a star-studded gala where both Biden and Obama raked in tens of millions of dollars for the Biden campaign. Even then, President Obama could be seen gingerly holding his former vice president by the arm and slowly guiding him stage right in the dim auditorium, another reminder that, at 81, Biden’s stamina for another four years remains a central point of discussion in the race.

According to the outlet, Clooney told Obama that Biden’s appearance at the L.A. fundraiser was “the same man we all witnessed at the debate.” While Obama did not encourage or advise Clooney about the op-ed, he also refrained from attempting to kill it.

The piece landed like a bunker buster on Wednesday, sending the White House into damage control mode as aides scrambled to respond to some of the most devastating lines by Clooney. Among them:

“We are not going to win in November with this president. On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate.”

“The dam has broken. We can put our heads in the sand and pray for a miracle in November, or we can speak the truth.”

“Top Democrats — Chuck Schumer, Hakeen Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi — and senators, representatives and other candidates who face losing in November need to ask this president to voluntarily step aside.”

Politico also reported that Pelosi and Schumer have quietly given their blessing to House and Senate Democrats to run from Biden in order to protect their seats in what’s shaping up to be a brutal cycle for the party. Appearing on “Morning Joe” Thursday, Pelosi told Scarborough and Brzezinski that the president needs to come to a decision about whether to stay in the race, an appeal that aides later said was a smoke signal that Democrats should feel free to call on Biden to drop out if they believe it will help them in November. Similarly, Senate Minority Leader Schumer has begun to tell some of the party’s biggest donors that he is open to a ticket without Biden at the top, according to Axios.

NEW: CNN To Fire HUNDREDS As Ratings Crater thumbnail

NEW: CNN To Fire HUNDREDS As Ratings Crater

The New Atlantis

CNN has announced plans to lay off at least 100 employees, with potentially more on the chopping block, as part of a new strategy focused on shoring up the network’s failing cable news ratings and making a second attempt for a foothold in the digital realm.

The Wall Street Journal reported that CNN Chief Executive Mark Thompson, in a memo sent to staff on Wednesday, outlined his plan to shave hundreds off the company’s payroll, mostly through a merger of the television newsgathering and digital-news divisions. The shift away from traditional TV will be painful, he added. “We recognize its potentially enormous impact on the individuals affected,” Thompson wrote to his 4,000 employees world wide. He declined to provide the Journal with further details about his shift to digital but said the move would “be significantly built out of CNN.com.”

VOTE NOW: Are You In Favor Of Term Limits For All Members Of Congress?

In addition to a streamlined focus on traditional news topics, Thompson wrote that a separate division would expand CNN’s “lifestyle journalism,” an admission that political news coverage will not save the network from its ratings free fall. TV news “can no longer define us,” he added, writing that the network is “nowhere near ready for the future.”

Warner Bros. Discovery, which owns CNN, has announced separate plans to conduct a small number of layoffs in the coming weeks, according to sources who spoke with the outlet. The challenge of cord-cutting continues to force mainstream media outlets to adapt to new platforms, fewer paid subscribers, and even slash the seven-figure salaries of their on-air talent.

In May the network reported its lowest viewership levels in decades. Between May 13th and 19th, CNN nabbed an average of 83,000 viewers in the crucial 25-54 age demographic between 8 and 11 p.m., the lowest level seen in over 30 years. Across all demos, the network lagged far behind its peers in a news ratings race it no longer appears qualified to run. In the past period, CNN garnered 494,000 viewers compared to 2 million for Fox and 1.1 million for MSNBC. Thompson at the time attributed the sagging ratings to a holdover effect as his CNN transitions away from traditional news and directs more of its focus to pop culture topics.

“We don’t believe news is just politics. Business and tech are news. Climate and weather are news. Health, wellness, and living longer are news. So expect to see us build new branded verticals in all these areas on TV, on our apps, and across our other platforms,” Thompson said.

One of Thompson’s first major moves was to propose dramatically slashing the salaries of its biggest talent. Top-earning anchors include Anderson Cooper at $20 million, Wolf Blitzer at $15 million, Jake Tapper at $8.5 million, and Chris Wallace at $8 million. Lower-level anchors including John Berman, Kate Bolduan, and Sara Sidner hold annual salaries between $1 million and $2 million. However, Thompson will have to wait until at least 2025 or even 2026 when contracts expire and he can renegotiate paychecks for his top stars.

No matter where it turns, CNN seems to fall victim to itself. Thompson canned former NBA star and notorious anti-Trumper Charles Barkley after his show “King Charles” failed to deliver and the basketball icon was reported to have called the network a “s***show” while it was courting him. Even when CNN succeeded by hosting town halls with Trump, the moves prompted grumbling among its reporters and media personalities who blamed network executives for amplifying so-called falsehoods.

BREAKING: Hollywood A-Lister George Clooney Calls On Biden To Step Down

The New Atlantis

Iconic actor and liberal philanthropist George Clooney is saying the quiet part out loud for his colleagues in Hollywood: it’s time for Joe Biden to step down.

The “Ocean’s” star published his thoughts on the New York Times website on Monday under the blaring headline “I Love Joe Biden. But We Need a New Nominee.” In a guest essay, the “lifelong Democrat” expresses his eternal thanks to President Biden for leading his party out of the Trump era before cautioning that he won’t be able to win a rematch this year.

VOTE NOW: Are You In Favor Of Term Limits For All Members Of Congress?

“But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” Clooney writes.

“Was he tired? Yes. A cold? Maybe. But our party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw. We’re all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we’ve opted to ignore every warning sign. The George Stephanopoulos interview only reinforced what we saw the week before. As Democrats, we collectively hold our breath or turn down the volume whenever we see the president, who we respect, walk off Air Force One or walk back to a mic to answer an unscripted question.”

Clooney’s about-face comes just weeks after he and other A-listers gathered for a fundraiser with Biden where they lavished his campaign with tens of millions of dollars. Even then, the signs were obvious: former President Barack Obama was seen guiding his former veep from the stage, holding on to his elbow, a repeat performance of their night together in New York just days earlier.

Whatever sway Clooney and the glitterati hold may have arrived too late: by Wednesday it appeared that the White House had limited the list of Democratic defections to just seven members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senator Mark Warner (D-VA). Senior Democrats went on the record to reiterate their belief in a Biden-led ticket, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and even progressive darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). And Democratic operatives are even floating the possibility of a “blitz primary” to replace Biden, an idea that Clooney seems supportive of in his piece.

“Would it be messy? Yes. Democracy is messy. But would it enliven our party and wake up voters who, long before the June debate, had already checked out? It sure would. The short ramp to Election Day would be a benefit for us, not a danger. It would give us the chance to showcase the future without so much opposition research and negative campaigning that comes with these ridiculously long and expensive election seasons. This can be an exciting time for democracy, as we’ve just seen with the 200 or so French candidates who stepped aside and put their personal ambitions on hold to save their democracy from the far right.”

Clooney concludes, “Joe Biden is a hero; he saved democracy in 2020. We need him to do it again in 2024.”

‘How I Met Your Mother’ Actor Arrested At The Border For Attempted Murder

The New Atlantis

A Hollywood actor with credits in the comedy series “How I Met Your Mother” has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly attempting to flee the country.

Nick Pasqual, 34, is facing one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of injuring a loved one after police say he was found attempting to take the life of his girlfriend. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Pasquel stabbed the woman multiple times on the night of May 23rd at her Sunland Home in the city of Los Angeles. The two had been estranged for some time and the incident occurred after the victim had obtained a restraining order against the actor.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she remains in critical condition. After fleeing the scene, Pasqual was hit with an arrest warrant of more than $1 million, the department added.

“My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,” District Attorney Gascón said. “Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her. This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.”

MySanAntonio reported that Pasqual was arrested in Texas after attempting to cross a border checkpoint. He is expected to be extradited from the checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, near El Paso to Los Angeles County to face the charges.

Pasqual played the role of Ted on “How I Met Your Mother,” a schoolteacher leading his students on a field trip during the show’s 2011 season, according to IMBD. Ironically, he was tapped in 2021 to play the role of fugitive Larry Chism on “America’s Most Wanted.” According to the U.S. Marshals, Chism has remained on the lam since 1988, far longer than Pasqual managed, and is charged with escape, racketeering, murder, firearms explosives, arson, narcotics trafficking, and airplane hijacking.

JUST IN: Kari Lake Gets Terrific News After Trailing For Months

The New Atlantis

New polling in Arizona’s hotly contested U.S. Senate race is showing a path to victory for firebrand conservative Kari Lake after she remained mired on the losing side of the numbers for months.

Lake, who ran for governor in 2022 with President Trump’s endorsement, now leads her likely Democratic rival, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) by two percent, according to an analysis conducted by The Hill. As the outlet notes, early polling gave a leg up to Gallego, but Lake for months has been hammering home the message that the uncontrollable flood of migrants across the state’s southern border is the result of his enabling of President Biden’s immigration policies. The state went for President Trump by 3.5% in 2016 and was narrowly carried by President Joe Biden by 0.3% four years later.

VOTE NOW: Do you blame BIDEN or TRUMP for the crashing economy?

Fundamental factors like partisan lean and incumbency are factored into the results, both of which add up to now show that Arizonians are so fed up with migration and high costs of living that Rep. Gallego is not benefitting from his congressional incumbency. In February, Lake launched her campaign and consistently remained about 5% behind Gallego in poll after poll, though his edge has narrowed to a razor-thin margin in the past few weeks. The last poll, conducted just days after President Biden’s disastrous debate, showed the two tied at 47% apiece.

Observers believe Lake is walking a fine line between remaining true to her MAGA roots while modulating her message to better fit the 2024 electorate. After losing the 2022 campaign to then-candidate and now-Governor Katie Hobbs, Lake launched a flurry of legal challenges seeking a recount, all of which were dismissed. Recently, she took heat for suggesting that Arizonans “strap on a Glock” ahead of November’s elections, a remark that was denounced by U.S. Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ), the husband of former congresswoman Gabby Giffords who was nearly killed after being shot in the head by a deranged gunman in 2010.

These days, Lake can be heard making the rounds with appeals to bread-and-butter issues — Washington dysfunction, runaway inflation, and the need for more housing in the southwest. She has received a slew of high-profile endorsements to help her through the Republican primary on July 30th, including nods from 23 of the U.S. Senate’s 49 Republicans. In April, President Trump hosted Lake at Mar-a-Lago where she broke the club’s fundraising record for a non-incumbent, raising more than $1 million.

Jill Biden Snaps At Reporters Over Questions About Her Husband’s Fitness: ‘Don’t Scream At Me’

The New Atlantis

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was caught in a candid and heated moment with a reporter who challenged her ability to manage President Joe Biden while his campaign has plunged into free fall. At one point Ms. Biden can be heard ordering the person to refrain from “screaming” at her.

As soon as she exited a coffee shop, the first lady was pelted with questions about machinations by House Democrats to force President Joe Biden out of the race. Mrs. Biden, 76, dutifully kept her head down and continued moving toward her car until being set off by a benign follow-up question.

“How are you feeling about the state of the race?” asked a female reporter.

“Why are you screaming at me? You know me. Don’t scream at me. Just let me talk,” said a visibly frustrated first lady.

WATCH:

Dr. Biden has taken heat in recent days for insisting that her husband, at the age of 81, is physically and mentally prepared to handle another four years in the White House. During a testy briefing with reporters on Tuesday, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked by Fox News’ Peter Doocy if Jill Biden is running the country after President Biden becomes less than the best version of himself after 8 p.m.

“Biden says he’s best before 8 p.m., but say the Pentagon picks up an incoming nuke at 11 pm — who do you call? The first lady?” Doocy asked.

“He has a team that lets him know of any, of any news that is pertinent and important to the American people,” KJP coldly replied.

WATCH:

In the days following his disastrous debate against former President Donald Trump, it was widely reported that the first lady and son Hunter Biden cloistered President Biden into family time where they berated his closest aides for failing to protect him from calls to drop out of the race.  According to a report from the New York Times, members of Biden’s family were adamant that he should stay in the race and work to turn things around. First Lady Jill Biden has been a major advocate for her husband’s campaign and has blamed his aides and top advisers for last Thursday’s debate performance.

“Hunter doesn’t trust” his father’s senior aides, one source told the New York Post. “I think Hunter wants to be there, and POTUS isn’t going to say no.”

With increased participation in her husband’s flailing reelection campaign, Mrs. Biden has seen her own popularity decline and has also been saddled with allegations of mistreating her staff. In April a poll found that former First Lady Melania Trump was significantly more popular than Jill Biden at this point in time during her husband’s term. The New York Post also reported that Anthony Bernal, who is considered Jill Biden’s “work husband,” has been accused of sexually harassing White House staff while being insulated from consequences by the first lady.
