The new videos, taken from two different angles, show Ferguson Police Officer Travis Brown apparently being hit by 28-year-old suspect Elijah Gantt on a sidewalk outside a police station after protesters attempted to pull down a perimeter fence. Police say Brown is now “fighting for his life” after being critically injured in the attack.

The newly released footage, which was taken from a nearby CCTV camera and an officer-worn body camera, was played at a news conference on Tuesday. It shows the suspect running down the officer, who proceeded to hit his head on the pavement as he fell. Officer Brown was knocked unconscious and was laying on his back before other officers responded to assist.

Authorities announced that Brown suffered a severe brain injury as a result of the attack.

“I think it’s a clear indication that my officer was charged and was hit violently by this individual,” Police Chief Troy Doyle said Tuesday. “If you look at the video, the officer is standing up, waiting to catch this guy. This guy tackled my guy like he’s a football player.”

Keith Rose, a St. Louis alternate delegate to the DNC and a member of the City of St. Louis’ Civilian Oversight Board, which reviews allegations of police misconduct, is one of several additional people facing charges in connection with the attack. He is being charged with first degree property damage after allegedly participating in efforts to tear down the fence and is currently free on $500 bond.

He has since withdrawn as a delegate for next week’s convention.

In a statement to the St. Louis Dispatch, Rose declared his innocence and vowed to fight the charges. “I am highly confident that the charge against me will be dropped once the prosecution reviews all of the evidence, but if not, I am prepared to defend myself against this accusation,” he said.

Former President Trump has regained the lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in the latest Fox News national survey.

According to the latest Fox News poll — which previously showed Biden-Harris in the lead earlier this year — Trump is up by one percentage point.

A number of high-profile events have taken place since the poll’s last iteration, which also found Trump with a one-point lead over President Biden. Since last month’s survey, Trump has survived an attempt on his life, selected J.D. Vance as his running mate and formally received the nomination at the Republican National Convention. Things have been eventful for the Democrats as well, as the party removed President Biden from the ticket and nominated Vice President Harris, who did not receive a single primary vote.

Trump is performing the best among men, white evangelical Christians, rural voters, and white men without a college degree. Harris is doing well with black voters, women, those with a college degree and voters under 30.

Fox News noted that while Harris is slightly outperforming Biden’s results among these demographics when compared with last month’s poll, she is still lagging behind the president’s 2020 totals.

The new survey also found that those living in union households support Harris by 10 percentage points, while those in military households prefer Trump by 22 points.

When expanding to account for a full field, Harris and Trump each secured 45 percent of the vote, while six percent of respondents expressed support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Support for the independent candidate is down from 10% in July and a high of 15% in November 2023.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary at a Virginia campaign office for former President Donald Trump over the weekend. Investigators have released an image of the suspect and are asking the public to come forward with any information.

The break-in happened on Sunday at an office building in Ashburn that is currently being rented by the Trump Campaign. It is also the headquarters of the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee, according to a news release from Northern Virginia’s Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office was contacted shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday. Office staff provided the officers with surveillance footage that shows someone wearing dark clothing, a dark park and a backpack as they rummaged through the building.

A video shows the suspect breaking in before proceeding to go through the office, sheriff’s office spokesperson Thomas A. Julia said in an email statement to the Associated Press on Tuesday.”

It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said in a statement. “We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken, as well as what may have been left behind.”

Margaret Mulkerrin, Hoyer’s deputy chief of staff and spokesperson, announced that the high-ranking Democrat suffered a “mild ischemic stroke” and immediately sought medical treatment.

“Mr. Hoyer has responded well to treatment and has no lingering symptoms.  He expects to resume his normal schedule next week,” Mulkerrin said in a statement. “Mr. Hoyer’s wife and family extend their deepest thanks to his medical team.”

The potential cause of the stroke has not been revealed as of this report.

Hoyer, 85, has served in Congress since 1981. In January, he pushed back on the notion of retirement and announced his plans to run for re-election in the fall.

A high-ranking Disney executive who is currently overseeing ABC News operations — which is set to host what may be the lone presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in September — is a donor to the Harris Campaign.

Dana Walden currently serves as 0o-chairman of Disney Entertainment, through which she oversees a number of the company’s television endeavors, including ABC News and ABC Entertainment. In recent years, she has made a number of donations to Kamala Harris’ various political campaigns, according to a report from the New York Times.

Walden first met Harris in 1994, while their husbands, Matt Walden and Doug Emhoff, have known each other since the 1980’s. Harris has described the ABC News director and her husband as “extraordinary friends” in the past.

The Waldens have donated to Harris’ political campaigns for years, starting with her run for San Francisco District Attorney in 2003.

Harris agreed to the September 10 debate after Trump agreed to a number of additional debates earlier this month. Harris rejected other debates — including one hosted by Fox News — and has only agreed to the ABC News event.

Harris has not yet sat for a formal interview in the 23 days since President Biden suspended his election campaign and endorsed her. She has also largely ignored reporters and has only taken questions on a handful of occasions.

But the problem happens when you have a consortium, or a group like the World Federation of Advertisers, or the group that they created called GARM, which then assemble all these advertisers and agencies, which creates a huge amount of power for GARM to basically instruct these companies on whether or not and how they want to employ brand safety standards,” Pavlovski told Fox Business.

“They then can now discriminate against certain voices on other platforms,” he continued. “If they don’t like what some speech might happen on Rumble or X, they can say, we’re not going to touch that, which then causes advertising rates to go higher because now they’re only accessing a certain portion of the market and then drives higher prices for their shareholders and their brands. This harms the advertisers, the shareholders, it creates a higher fee for the agencies and also harms Rumble creators and Rumble viewers and the Rumble platform.”

Pavlovski went on to describe ad agencies as operating as a “harmful monopoly.”

Pavlovski revealed the first of a series of conversations with advertisers surrounding the prospect of deals with Rumble shortly prior to his interview on Fox Business.

The first email was from Diageo North America, a leading alcoholic beverage company that is part of the “GARM Steer Team,” Pavlovski noted. In an email to Rumble, Diageo wrote that “there is no scenario where we approve a platform that has Steven Crowder, Alex Jones or the like. The content on your platform is non-compliant pretty much across every category we try to avoid.”

Similar sentiments were expressed by Inspire Brands, whose chains include Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins, Jimmy Johns and a number of additional high-profile brands. “To be honest [redacted], I would be opposed to showing up on the current version of the platform — the right-wing culture of the site is too polarizing from a brand standpoint today,” a representative for Inspire Brands wrote in an email to Rumble.

They added that they will be open to continuing discussions “as the platform evolves.”

“When you have a monopoly and you create a monopoly by assembling all this power and control to dictate a certain standard of how you’re gonna spend that money, that’s not a free market. The Sherman Act does not allow that,” Pavlovski told Fox Business.

“So that’s illegal. There’s different rules and standards when you’re a monopoly. And what the World Federation of Advertisers has done is they created a monopoly to basically tell all these advertisers how they should spend money based on certain speech,” he continued.

“In other words, horrible. And yet we spend more per pupil than any other country in the world. So we spend more. And what I’m going to do, one of the first acts, and this is where I need an Elon Musk, I need somebody that has a lot of strength and courage and smarts. I want to close up Department of Education, move education back to the states where states, like Iowa, where states like Idaho, you know, not every state will do great because states that basically aren’t doing good now,” Trump said.

“So excited to endorse you as the President of the United States for having the term here. That was just incredibly inspiring. But I mean, what was it like for you?” Musk asked.
