Partyers are pouring in for the family of eight-time MLB All-Star Freddie Freeman after his three-year-old son, Maximus, was hospitalized with a rare condition earlier this week.

On Wednesday, July 24, the Los Angeles Dodgers star was informed that his son had been rushed to the emergency room during a game against the San Francisco Giants. Freeman’s son was experiencing severe pain to the point of being unable to “sit, stand or walk.”

According to an Instagram post from Freeman’s wife, Chelsea, their son was diagnosed with transient synovitis, which is a condition also known as “irritable hip,” according to a report from People magazine.

“Please say a prayer for Maximus,” Chelsea Freeman wrote. “Dr says he developed transient synovitis from the viral infection he had at All-Star Week. Day 3 of not being able to sit, stand or walk… Any tips to help toddlers take/keep down medicine? He is usually good at taking medicine but he keeps spitting it out. ”

Ina follow-up Instagram story, Chelsea shared the MLB star met his family at the hospital “straight from the game.”

“It took 2 attempts to get IV in and Max was so brave he didn’t even cry. They ran a ton of tests & blood work panels that thank God they all came back negative. No infection or active virus. They hydrated him and gave him inflammatory medicine through IV. They took x-rays & ultrasound,” she added.

“Everything is consistent with transient synovitis. He still cannot bear any weight to stand or walk so we will be closely monitoring him.”

“If he doesn’t improve in 48hrs he needs to go back to the hospital,” she added. “We got discharged around 3:30am.”

An Israeli NGO is calling on U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate Amal Clooney, the wife of actor George Clooney, over her role in the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over the war in Gaza.

According to Shurat HaDin, Clooney participated in the ICC’s advisory forum and was a supporter of the decision to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant, as well as Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Deif in Gaza.

The group is alleging that Clooney violated federal law by participating in the “investigative actions” against the two Israeli leaders while on American soil. The complaint specifically alleged that Clooney violated the American Servicemembers’ Protection Act of 2001, also known as The Hague Invasion Act.

Under the legislation, ICC agents are prohibited from conducting their investigations on behalf of the court while on U.S. soil. Neither the United States nor Israel is a member of the ICC.

“The American law is extremely clear: No agent of the ICC can operate or assist in ICC investigative actions against Americans or their allies while residing in the U.S.,” Shurat HaDin President Nitsana Darshan-Leitner said in a statement to Ynet News.

If Clooney is found to have conducted any of her work for the court while located in the United States, she could face felony charges.

In its letter, the Israeli NGO noted that Clooney took part in an investigative forum under ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan, which was tasked with investigating allegations of war crimes in the Gaza War.

The group further alleges that Clooney openly discussed her work with the forum and bragged about her efforts to incriminate the Israeli leaders.

“As President Biden stated, it is outrageous that this biased court in The Hague would attempt to prosecute Israeli officials as they battle the Hamas murderers, rapists and terror gangs in Gaza,” Darshan-Leitner said.

“If Amal Clooney participated in the ICC panel investigating Prime Minister Netanyahu while residing in the US then she is the one that needs to be prosecuted. She seems to be passionate about international law but pretty contemptuous of American regulations.”

Trump began by congratulating the Charlotte, North Carolina crowd for defeating “crooked Joe Biden.”

Dramatic footage from the pro-Palestine riots in Washington D.C. on Thursday shows a lone man attempting to save an American flag that was being burned by rioters.

After rioters stormed Union Station and tore down three American flags out front, they proceeded to burn them before replacing them with Palestinian flags. As one of the American flags was burning, a lone man rushed into a crowd of hundreds of rioters and grabbed the flag before retreating.

He immediately sprinted away with the flag, though he was forced to drop it about 100 yards further into the crowd as he was being chased by rioters who were yelling “get him!”

The unrest kicked off after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It was far from the first time pro-Palestine protesters caused unrest in Washington D.C., as protesters had previously stormed the White House on multiple occasions and clashed with Capitol Police outside the DNC building.

Wednesday’s protests were the largest and most destructive, however. As the massive crowd descended on the Capitol Building, the protest soon devolved into a riot as protesters clashed with Capitol ad D.C. Metro Police.

“Part of the crowd has started to become violent at First Street and Constitution Avenue, NW. The crowd failed to obey our order to move back from our police line. We are deploying pepper spray towards anyone trying to break the law and cross that line,” the Capitol Police wrote in an X post.

Several videos have emerged that show mobs of rioters surrounding Capitol Police officers before proceeding to attack them. Others vandalized buildings and monuments, burned flags, and disrupted Congressional proceedings.

It is unlikely that any of the violent rioters will face any consequences, as federal prosecutors have for months refused to treat pro-Palestine rioters with the same harsh response given to January 6 protesters.

To date, more than 1,400 January 6 protesters have been raided by armed FBI agents before being thrown into prison for charges that amount to trespassing. Defendants who so much as shoved police officers during the January 6 protests have been convicted of felonies and sentenced to multiple years in prison.

D.C. U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves has yet to bring a single felony charge against pro-Palestine rioters, even those who have attacked police, since the October 7 attacks and subsequent protest movement. His office does however continue to hunt down January 6 protesters on non-violent trespassing misdemeanors nearly four years after the minor disturbance, however.

Republican Senate candidate for Pennsylvania Dave McCormick released a hard-hitting campaign ad focusing on his opponent’s endorsement of Vice President Harris.

The ad opens with a clip of Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) offering an endorsement of Harris after she was selected to be then-candidate Biden’s running mate in 2020. “Kamala Harris is inspiring and very capable… The more people get to know her, they’re going to be particularly impressed by her ability,” Casey said.

On the topic of immigration, the ad noted that Harris has called for the decriminalization of illegal immigration, advocated for free health care for illegal aliens, and the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a federal agency responsible for deportations.

It also drew attention to Harris’ past statements on criminal justice and crime. Harris — who bailed out violent rioters during the George Floyd riots in 2020 — called for funds to be diverted away from police departments in 2020 during the height of the unrest.

When asked whether she would be in favor of restoring voting rights for rapists and murderers, including the Boston Marathon bomber, then-candidate Harris replied by saying, “I think we should have that conversation.”

“We have to have a buyback program and I support a mandatory buyback program,” Harris said in another clip on the topic of gun confiscation.

The ad concludes with Senator Casey’s endorsement of the vice president once again, followed by a cackling Harris saying “we did it, Joe” after the 2020 election.
