Donald Trump Jr. said Monday that he no longer watches Fox News.
His announcement comes after his father, President Donald Trump, criticized the network for airing an interview with Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ). According to the president, the interview allowed the Democratic senator, who voted against funding the government, to “talk about, totally unabated or challenged, Healthcare.”
Trump Jr. echoed his father’s Truth Social post from Sunday on Newsmax’s The Chris Salcedo Show and accused Fox News of being Republican in name only.
“That’s what happens when you have sort of a RINO network,” Trump said of Fox News. “They want to be loved. They just want the power. They don’t care. It’s about clickbait.
“I honestly don’t watch it anymore because it is so ridiculous. They try so hard to be unbiased that they’re actually biased towards conservatives at this point. It’s pretty ridiculous. I was banned for 2 1/2 years. I’m barely on anymore. I know my father was banned.”
Kelly claimed during his interview with Fox News that “millions of people will lose their healthcare or go bankrupt” under the plan proposed by Republican senators.
Democratic senators are refusing to vote for the stopgap government funding resolution until they are guaranteed the premium tax credits initially drafted under Obamacare that were enhanced under the Biden administration amid the coronavirus pandemic. All five votes have failed to reach the 60-vote threshold to end the filibuster so far.
TRUMP RIPS FOX NEWS OVER MARK KELLY INTERVIEW, TELLS NETWORK ‘GET ON BOARD’
“Why is FoxNews and Peter Doocy putting on Democrat Senator Mark Kelly to talk about, totally unabated or challenged, Healthcare?” the president posted on Truth Social. “The FAKE SPIN is so bad for Republicans that it is hard to believe that we WIN.”
“I’m watching this Interview,” Trump continued. “It just doesn’t end. Fox should either get on board, or get off board, NOW, but at this point, it just doesn’t make any difference to me.”
