Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who once graced the set of ABC’s “The View,” unleashed a scathing review of her old show on Fox News. This followed the controversial appearance of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre amid growing concerns about President Biden’s ability to finish his term.

Biden’s announcement to drop out of the race, made via an official letter on Sunday, set the stage for a heated presidential race between the likely Democrat nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump. The absence of a White House briefing for days following Biden’s announcement drew a fair amount of criticism and speculation about the administration’s approach to media engagement.

“Unfortunately, it was a misuse of the platform of ‘The View’ table, which, reminding everyone, is called ‘The View,’ meaning their view only,” Hasselbeck said to Fox News’ Martha MacCallum. “Where were the questions? Absolute misuse, disappointing, not surprising, of course, that there was no follow through.”

“This is where it all begins and unfortunately the very stage and table that calls for choice all the time wants to sit there and by the mouth of Whoopi Goldberg, a friend of mine, and I tell this to her face to face, is bullying her viewers into voting for Kamala based on the fact that she’s a female,” Hasselbeck went on. She described it as an “absolutely ignorant strategy” and said she hopes that viewers would either “decide to tune out or actually tune in to what’s going on at that table.”

“What they have there is an opportunity to ask KJP some actual questions … no follow-ups. It was really disappointing, not surprising.” The former co-host criticized the show for turning into a promotional platform for Harris’s campaign, calling it the “first advertisement for the left.” She finished, “I hope that the next time they have a candidate on that stage that is left-leaning that they actually pose some decent questions and follow-ups because their viewers deserve that.”

“On the messaging to us, to the press corps, it’s been nine days since there’s been a briefing. The President obviously published his letter officially on Sunday, withdrawing from the race,” CNN’s Kayla Tausche asked on Wednesday. “Why go on television to make your first comments about that decision?”

“No, I appreciate that. We’ve always had a protocol here,” said Jean-Pierre. “When the President’s not here, we don’t do a briefing. That’s just the way that we’ve always, it’s always happened. The interview that I did yesterday was on the books for about two, three weeks. It was way before, way before the President made his decision.”

WATCH:

Jean-Pierre confirmed that Biden’s decision not to seek re-election wasn’t due to any reservations about serving another term. While she dodged specific questions about the reasons behind his withdrawal, she assured reporters that Biden would clarify his motives in an upcoming Oval Office address. However, for months, she and other White House executives have dismissed claims that Biden has been dealing with age-related health issues.

The Kelce brothers, known for their prowess on the football field, have ventured into a new arena, creating a breakfast cereal named ‘Kelce Mix.’ The product combines the flavors of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs. However, not all celebrity-associated food products receive such a warm welcome.

Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, has since been criticized for the health concerns over his new cereal product. This was echoed by health activist Calley Means, who took to social media to express disdain for athletes and celebrities endorsing products that could potentially harm children’s health.

“Some things are more important than money,” Means tweeted, tagging the Kelce brothers in a plea that seemed to extend to all celebrities venturing into the food industry.

Jason Kelce responded. “I appreciate you spreading information on what is healthy for people and kids, and I take the obesity epidemic as a country and for kids seriously, but there is also room to eat cereal and ice cream and candy in the right quantities in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle.”

“It’s the best. I could eat a whole box right now. It’ll take me like three hours to do it, and I’ll just be eating the soggy ones at the bottom that I still enjoy because it’s so fuc*ing good.”

“I’ve said that I’d eat a whole box of Reese’s Puffs cereal in one sitting, and while I stand by that, our creation might just be the new MVP of the cereal aisle,” Travis explained. “We’d go through two to three boxes of our favorite cereals a week when we were growing up, so being able to team up with General Mills now is a full circle moment for us.”

CNN’s Harry Enten Stuns Democrats, Pours Cold Water On ‘Harris Momentum’

CNN’s Harry Enten Stuns Democrats, Pours Cold Water On ‘Harris Momentum’

The New Atlantis

Political analyst Harry Enten delivered a segment on CNN that may dampen the enthusiasm of Democrats rallying around Kamala Harris’s perceived momentum in the 2024 presidential race. Despite high-profile endorsements from Democratic heavyweights including former President Barack Obama, Enten suggests the supposed surge in Harris’s popularity might not be as robust as it appears.

Enten pointed out the nuances in recent polling data, which could be crucial as the Democratic Party sets the stage for what many believe will be a Harris nomination. “I think there’s all this talk of all this Harris momentum. Maybe there’s a slight bit of momentum, but I would argue it’s actually a little bit smaller than folks think,” Enten explained on CNN.

His analysis comes at a pivotal moment for the Democratic Party, which formally adopted rules on Wednesday for a likely Harris nomination. The vetting process for Harris’s potential running mate is also in full swing, with an announcement expected before August 7.

“So pre-Biden dropping out, look, Trump was up by two over Harris. We look at the polls now this week. What do we see? We see Trump is up by one over Harris,” he said. The minor shift in polling, according to Enten, indicates that the change in candidates might be more influential than any genuine momentum for Harris against Trump.

WATCH:

“The massive change is actually the change of candidates because prior to Biden dropping out, he trailed by six points among these, in these exact same polls that we look at here, where Harris was only trailing by two points. So the movement is actually from Biden to Harris, not actually Harris herself necessarily moving,” Enten clarified.

The veep, the first Black female to lead a major party ticket has seen a “honeymoon” in the polls as she tightened the race against former President Donald Trump and coalesced major Democratic Party figures behind her candidacy. So far, no challenger has stepped forward, putting Harris on a glide path to a formal nomination at the party’s convention in Chicago next month. Obama, who for days left open the possibility that he would support a “blitz primary” that saw uncommitted delegates swayed by multiple candidates, closed that door.

WATCH:

National polls since Biden’s exit continue to show that Trump maintains a lead over Harris and even larger leads in some of the most hotly contested battleground states of the 2024 cycle. However, the switchover has disrupted Republicans’ line of attack which for months had been honed to harness the weakness of Biden’s economy and foreign policy chops as well as growing evidence of his physical and mental decline in office. Harris has scrambled that strategy, Politico reported, as Republicans test messages about Harris’s failures as a border czar, a prosecutor as the former attorney general of California, and her penchant for making “weird” or uninformed statements about coconut trees and “fancy” artificial intelligence.

While there is a shift toward Harris from Biden among Democratic voters, the overall dynamics of the race against Trump may not have shifted as dramatically as some Democrat optimists might have hoped. As Democrats continue to coalesce around Harris with the party’s endorsement and strategic moves underway, the real test will begin in the coming months. This period be critical for Harris and the Democrat Party as they finalize their ticket and refine their strategy going forward.

JD Vance’s ‘Hillbilly Elegy’ Reaches #1 On Amazon’s Best Sellers List

On the first day of the Republican National Convention, former President Donald Trump unveiled his choice of J.D. Vance (R-OH), as his vice-presidential candidate. The announcement, posted on Trump’s preferred social media platform, Truth Social, ignited a renewed interest in Vance’s work propelling “Hillbilly Elegy” to the top spot on Amazon’s bestseller list.

The selection of Vance, a Marine veteran and a first-time entrant on a presidential ticket, was a move within the Republican Party aiming to attract voters from the Rust Belt states—a region that resonates well with the themes of Vance’s memoir. “Hillbilly Elegy” offers a deep dive into the struggles and resilience of the working-class population in Appalachia, providing insight into the lives that many feel have been overlooked by mainstream politics.

Following Trump’s announcement on July 15, Vance formally accepted the nomination on July 17, during the convention. His acceptance speech, infused with references to his personal journey as detailed in his book, struck a chord with many attendees. Vance’s narrative of overcoming adversity and his commitment to addressing the issues facing the working class have made him a compelling figure in the political arena.

The memoir by Vance delves into his upbringing in the Appalachian region, specifically in Ohio and Kentucky. The book, first published in 2016, offers a personal narrative and analysis of the white working-class community. Vance’s story is one of personal triumph over adversity, as he navigates a tumultuous family life marked by poverty, addiction, and instability, ultimately ascending to Yale Law School. The memoir has resonated as a sociological exploration and a commentary on the American Dream, exploring themes of social decay, cultural norms, and the impact of economic hardship.

The book gained widespread attention for its insights into a segment of the population that played a significant role in the political landscape, particularly during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. “Hillbilly Elegy” has been praised for its candid and thoughtful examination of the struggles faced by the working class.

At the time Vance earned the title of #1 New York Times bestseller, capturing significant acclaim and endorsements from prominent publications. Described by The Economist as possibly “the most important book about America you will read this year,” it garnered attention for its insights into American society. The Wall Street Journal also praised it as “a riveting book,” while David Brooks of the New York Times labeled it “essential reading.”

This July, Trump wrote on Truth Social during the RNC: “After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio.”

On Thursday, Trump reiterated his endorsement of Vance, telling Fox News, “Vance was doing a great job.” He further praised Vance, stating, “He is fantastic. No, it wouldn’t have mattered,” when questioned whether the candidacy of Vice President Harris would have influenced his strategy.

No, it wouldn’t have mattered,” when questioned whether the candidacy of Vice President Harris would have influenced his strategy.

, On the first day of the Republican National Convention, former President Donald Trump unveiled his choice of J.D. Vance (R-OH), as his vice-presidential candidate. Calls To Boycott Netflix Explode After Founder Donates WHOPPING Amount To Kamala

After a lackluster first presidential debate, President Joe Biden surprised the nation by announcing his decision not to seek reelection on Sunday. Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings, long frustrated with Biden’s administration, is now betting big on Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the charge for the Democrats in the upcoming election.

Hastings has thrown his weight behind Harris by donating a hefty $7 million to her 2024 campaign. “After the depressing debate, we are in the game again,” Hastings said to The Information. He stressed that this was the most substantial donation he had ever made to any single candidate.

Before starting Netflix, Hastings was involved in several tech ventures, including Pure Software, a company he founded in 1991. A well-respected figure in Silicon Valley, Hastings has also made substantial donations to various causes.  “Congrats to Kamala Harris — now it is time to win,” Hastings wrote on X on Monday

In early July, Hastings was among the first prominent figures to publicly call for Biden to step down as the Democratic presidential nominee. “Biden needs to step aside to allow a vigorous Democratic leader to beat Trump and keep us safe and prosperous,” he told The New York Times in an email.

BARCELONA – FEBRUARY 27: Netflix CEO Reed Hastings speaking at the Mobile World Congress on February 27, 2017, Barcelona, Spain.

During the Trump years, Hastings and his wife, Patty Quillin, climbed the ranks to become some of the Democratic Party’s top benefactors. The power couple has poured over $20 million into the party’s coffers in recent years. This hefty sum includes up to $1.5 million to propel Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and another $100,000 last summer to bolster his now-abandoned 2024 reelection bid, according to The Times. Most of their hefty contributions have been channeled into super PACs dedicated to securing Democratic majorities in the House and Senate.

Hastings co-founded Netflix in 1997 alongside Marc Randolph. The inception of Netflix was inspired by Hastings’ personal experience of facing a hefty late fee for a rented movie, which sparked the idea for a subscription-based, no-late-fee rental service. However, after the donation announcement, the internet erupted with calls for a Netflix boycott after Hastings’s staggering $7 million donation to Harris’s 2024 campaign came to light.

Rupert Murdoch Enrages Family With Shocking Legal Move Involving Fox Ownership

The New Atlantis

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is currently embroiled in a quiet legal showdown with three of his kids. The dispute centers on the destiny of Murdoch’s media empire after his death and could impact its status as a bastion of conservative values in the future.

The 93-year-old tycoon started the family feud last year with a move amending the terms of the formidable Murdoch family trust. The change is designed to ensure his favorite son, Lachlan, keeps the reins of his global network of TV channels and newspapers. Murdoch’s bid to tweak the terms of his family trust reportedly left him estranged from three of his children.

After attempting to sway Elisabeth and Prudence with separate meetings in London—where Elisabeth slammed the proposal—the media titan pushed through the changes at an emergency trust meeting in Reno, Nevada, on December 6. Despite efforts by the trio’s representatives to halt the proceedings, the changes were approved as revealed by a sealed court document obtained by the New York Times.

This rift has now deepened, evidenced by the absence of James, Elisabeth, and Prudence at Murdoch’s recent wedding in California, though Lachlan was in attendance. Murdoch’s camp argues that the trust amendments, though the trust is irrevocable, are in good faith, intended to preserve the trust’s assets and prevent any dilution of Fox’s conservative stance by his other children.

The family, sitting on a colossal $19.5 billion fortune per Forbes, reportedly fueled the fiery drama seen in HBO’s “Succession” with their own behind-the-scenes bickering. The Australian media mogul took over a newspaper at just 22 years old following his father’s death, a former war correspondent. He expanded his influence vastly, building a media empire that now includes heavy hitters like Fox News, The Times of London, and The Wall Street Journal.

In September of 2023, Murdoch stepped down as chairman. He sold major assets including Fox’s movie studio, FX, National Geographic Networks, and its stake in Star India to Disney for a staggering $71.3 billion back in March 2019. His son, Lachlan, now oversees the streamlined Fox, which focuses on broadcast, cable news, business, and sports networks.

According to The Times, Murdoch’s step was driven by fears that disagreements among his heirs could shift the editorial direction and strategic vision of his companies, notably Fox News and News Corp. In response, the three siblings have united, sharing legal representation to challenge their father’s actions, which they argue undermine the “equal governance provision” of the original trust and are not made in good faith. The court’s findings suggest that a trial could indeed determine that Murdoch’s amendment of the trust was done in bad faith.

Although all six of Murdoch’s children, including his younger daughters from his third marriage share equal equity in the trust, only his four eldest have voting rights. Murdoch is pushing to amplify Lachlan’s voting influence to ensure unchallenged control, despite the trust’s original intent for balanced power among his four older children. This shift, spearheaded by William P. Barr, the former Attorney General, was announced during a special trust meeting in Reno, Nevada—a city chosen for its favorable legal environment for family trusts.

James Murdoch, once co-leader of Fox and News Corp alongside Lachlan, has openly criticized the network’s editorial direction, particularly its support for former President Donald Trump, which he sees as damaging to the company’s long-term viability. After stepping down in 2020, James has since pivoted to managing his own investments, including significant stakes in international media.

They’re set to take their case to court with a trial slated for September.

BEVERLY HILLS – FEB 24: Rupert Murdoch, Jerry Hall at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on February 24, 2019 in Beverly Hills, CA The family, sitting on a colossal $19.5 billion fortune per Forbes, reportedly fueled the fiery drama seen in HBO’s “Succession” with their own behind-the-scenes bickering. News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch attends the Oxfam/Myspace Rock for Darfur event with his wife Wendi Deng, and Myspace Co-founders Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe. 12 October 2006 According to The Times, Murdoch’s step was driven by fears that disagreements among his heirs could shift the editorial direction and strategic vision of his companies, notably Fox News and News Corp. BREAKING: Trump Releases Brand New Book With Stunning Details About His Life

The New Atlantis

Former President Donald Trump, fresh off surviving an assassination attempt at a rally, is capitalizing on the drama with a new book. The book includes a fist-pumping Trump moments after the gunfire, marking his third release since exiting the White House.

Both Trump and former first lady Melania are each dropping their own books, highlighting their takes on their time in the spotlight under different banners. Trump described the new book as a testament to the “great success” of the U.S. under his leadership, telling Fox News, “this book represents the campaign that we’re in the midst of, which has been going really well. Now, we’re running against a radical left lunatic,” said Trump. “We beat Biden. That’s why he quit. He quit because of the debate. He quit because he got beaten. He was so far down in the polls that they threw him out.”

The cover of Trump’s latest book, “Save America,” packs a punch with a dramatic snapshot taken right after he dodged an assassin’s bullet. Captured by The Associated Press’ Evan Vucci, the image shows Trump defiantly posing in front of an American flag at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally—turning a moment of danger into a defiant display of resilience.

“I’m pleased to announce my new Book, ‘SAVE AMERICA,’” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “As everyone knows, the first two, ‘Our Journey Together’ and, ‘Letters to Trump,’ have been spectacular successes, and this is the BEST OF ALL, especially in light of the fact that we are now living in a Failing Nation, but it will not be failing for long. We will soon, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump said that the book truly captures the current climate, stating, “it is really representative of everything that’s happening now. It also represents a lot of the beautiful past in the White House, including my relationships with world leaders, which is so important right now, with Cuba being infiltrated by Russian ships; with planes being intercepted over Alaska; Russia and China playing, working together against the United States.”

“Now, we’re running against a radical left lunatic,” Trump told Fox News. “We beat Biden. That’s why he quit. He quit because of the debate. He quit because he got beaten. He was so far down in the polls that they threw him out.”

“She is a radical left lunatic. She’ll destroy our country. She doesn’t have what it takes to be president.” Trump took a sharp jab at Harris, criticizing her diplomatic skills by saying, “she can’t deal with Putin and President Xi.” He added, “They don’t want to hear that ridiculous laugh,” and questioned, “And can you imagine her in meetings with these people?”

Reflecting on her 2020 presidential run, Trump remarked, “she never made it to the first state.” He further emphasized, “She never made it to Iowa,” and concluded with a biting comparison, “She’s worse than Biden.”

There have been several notable books by Donald Trump, each providing different perspectives on his life, presidency, and influence. Among those written by Trump, “The Art of the Deal” (1987), co-written with Tony Schwartz, outlines his business strategies and experiences, as well as his approach to deal-making. “Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again” (2015) details Trump’s political views and policy proposals leading up to his 2016 presidential campaign, while “The Art of the Comeback” (1997) discusses his return to success after financial difficulties in the early 1990s.

NEW: Social Media CEO Reveals Trump Shooter’s Alleged Account: ‘Deranged Biden Supporter’

NEW: Social Media CEO Reveals Trump Shooter’s Alleged Account: ‘Deranged Biden Supporter’

The New Atlantis

Andrew Torba, CEO of the social media platform Gab, disclosed on X that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the individual who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, might have had a pro-Biden account on Gab.

According to Torba’s posts, Gab was informed about 30 minutes before his announcement that Crooks, labeled a “deranged Biden supporter” by Torba, possibly maintained an account on their platform. However, Gab has not confirmed whether the account genuinely belonged to Crooks. “The account was last active on the site in 2021. As far as we are aware, the account did not use the site to send any direct messages,” Torba tweeted.

Gab, a social media platform known for its stance on free speech and minimal content moderation, was launched in 2016 by Andrew Torba and Ekrem Büyükkaya as an alternative to more mainstream platforms like Twitter and Facebook, which they believed were excessively censoring conservative viewpoints. The site has often been associated with conservative users, as it has attracted a significant number of individuals and groups who have been banned from other social networks.

The social media CEO further noted that although the account had minimal activity with only nine posts, “the majority of them were in support of President Biden.” These posts reportedly praised Biden’s COVID-19 lockdown measures, border policies, and executive orders. Torba also revealed that Gab has preserved the account data and is awaiting a search warrant.

Torba suggested that there has been an effort to suppress and deny any connection between Crooks and Biden by Democrats and media outlets supportive of them. “If the past is any guide, defying the D.C. consensus by publishing the first definitive evidence that the shooter was a Biden supporter has a high probability of resulting in significant political and media backlash,” Torba wrote.

According to Torba, Gab has previously faced “politically motivated inquiries” from governmental bodies like the House Oversight Committee and the Joint Committee on the January 6th Attacks. The committees have allegedly tried to interfere with Gab’s mission of protecting free speech online. Torba also pointed out that this exposure comes with “significant personal and business risk” and hinted at potential legal ramifications. The evidence provided by Torba is yet to be verified and confirmed as directly linked to Crooks.

Gab became notably involved in political discussions and controversies, particularly in relation to its user base’s political leanings and the content shared on the platform. The platform, however, has prided itself on upholding free expression and has been criticized for hosting controversial content. This has led to various challenges, including being denied services by several web hosting providers and being removed from app stores.

The FBI is still on the hunt for any manifesto or clues that might explain why 20-year-old Crooks launched a violent attack that left two Trump rally attendees injured, killed a retired volunteer fire chief named Corey Comperatore, and nearly took the life of former President Trump.

During Wednesday’s congressional hearing, FBI Director Christopher Wray unveiled disturbing new evidence about Thomas Crooks, who demonstrated clear premeditation in his actions and used historical presidential assassinations as a blueprint.

“Analysis of a laptop that the investigation ties to the shooter reveals that on July 6th, he did a Google search for, quote: ‘how far away was Oswald from Kennedy?’” Wray said on Wednesday. “So that’s a search that obviously is significant in terms of his state of mind,” Wray continued. “That is the same day that it appears that he registered for the Butler rally.”

BREAKING: Secret Service DECLINED Drones From Local Law Enforcement For Trump Rally

BREAKING: Secret Service DECLINED Drones From Local Law Enforcement For Trump Rally

The New Atlantis

On Thursday, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) revealed that a whistleblower has alleged the U.S. Secret Service declined offers from local law enforcement to utilize drone technology prior to a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The rally, for former President Donald Trump, later became the site of the assassination attempt by gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks.

The senator’s office received whistleblower allegations indicating that the night before the rally, the Secret Service was repeatedly offered the use of drones by local law enforcement partners. In a detailed letter addressed to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, Hawley demanded answers and more transparency from the department, after the critical lapse in security preparations.

The letter comes just a day after FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed in his testimony that Crooks used a drone to survey the rally site hours before the attack. “This technology was not only available but was also capable of being deployed to secure the site,” wrote Hawley in his letter. Despite this, the offers were declined, only for the Secret Service to request the deployment of drone technology in the aftermath of the shooting.

“This means that the technology was both available to USSS and able to be deployed to secure the sight,” Hawley wrote. “The failure to deploy drone technology is all the more concerning since, according to the whistleblower, the drones offered had the capability not only to identify active shooters but also to help neutralize them.”

“Why was the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) not using its own drones?” the senator questioned, pointing out the dire consequences of the agency’s decision to refuse external help. In his plea for accountability and answers, Hawley requested that the Department of Homeland Security provide “all records and communications concerning the availability or use of drones at the July 13, 2024 rally in Butler, PA.” Furthermore, he insisted that Secretary Mayorkas testify before Congress to address these “staggering security failures.”

The near-fatal incident on July 13 saw Trump turn slightly to read a chart, dodging the bullet by a mere quarter of an inch. The shot, fired by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks’ AR-15-style rifle, tragically struck and killed Corey Comperatore, a former firefighter chief and devoted father and husband, who heroically shielded his family from the bullet. Two other bystanders were critically injured in the chaos.

New legislation has since been introduced that would mandate the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI, and the Secretary of Homeland Security to declassify pivotal information related to the assassination attempt and the shooter’s motives. Hawley is set to introduce the “Trump Assassination Attempt Transparency Act,” a bill aimed at compelling the federal government to declassify all details concerning the incident.

“We need the truth about the assassination attempt against President Trump,” Hawley told Fox News in a statement today. “We can’t let the federal government hide behind the ‘classified’ label. “This investigation must be done out in the open for the American people to see – no more stonewalling, no more evading questions. Time for accountability.”

The bill calls for intelligence agencies to compile and present a detailed report to Congress on their findings, following Trump’s repeated pleas for additional resources. If passed, this legislation could peel back layers of secrecy surrounding national security incidents and potentially reform how intelligence is handled and shared at the highest levels. The repercussions of the assassination attempt led to the resignation of Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle. She stepped down just a day after facing bipartisan fury during her testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

She stepped down just a day after facing bipartisan fury during her testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

, On Thursday, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) revealed that a whistleblower has alleged the U.S. “The failure to deploy drone technology is all the more concerning since, according to the whistleblower, the drones offered had the capability not only to identify active shooters but also to help neutralize them.” NEW – Whistleblower tells me local law enforcement partners & suppliers offered drones to Secret Service BEFORE the rally – but Secret Service declined pic.twitter.com/UM0jfrMc9z — Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) July 25, 2024 “Why was the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) not using its own drones?” the senator questioned, pointing out the dire consequences of the agency’s decision to refuse external help.
