Slash, the renowned guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, has shared the sad news of his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight’s passing. Knight, the daughter of his girlfriend of nine years, Meegan Hodges, died on July 19 at the age of 25.

Officials reported that she died at a private residence in Los Angeles County, based on county medical examiner records. They did not provide further details about the cause of death. According to the records from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, officials are holding off on determining how she died as they await further tests.

“Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024,” Slash wrote on Instagram.

“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”
