MTG says she was denied security detail despite 773 death threats

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) revealed she was denied an extra security detail despite reporting over 700 death threats over the course of four years.

U.S. Capitol Police received 773 reports of death threats from Greene’s office since she joined Congress in 2021. According to Greene, “all of the death threats came from the ‘left’ until I stood with the Epstein Survivors.”

“We received pizza doxxing deliveries, pipe bomb threats at my home and construction company office, and assassination threats directly on my son, Derek. The police and local FBI and GBI, promptly responded,” Greene wrote on X on Sunday.

TRUMP GIVEN WEEK OF WINS AND FAKE SCANDAL: WHITE HOUSE REPORT CARD

“I sent these assassination threats on my son to President Trump in which he responded with harsh accusatory replies and zero sympathy. I also sent these threats to Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Deputy Chief James Blair and received no response, nothing,” Greene added.

Greene reported that the Rome City Police and Floyd County Sheriff’s Department have monitored Greene when at her home on a voluntary basis. Capitol Police have also recommended prosecutions in some cases.

However, when it comes to her security, Greene implied she chose to protect herself “independently” with her own firearm, as she is “a big believer” in the Second Amendment, stating that she owns multiple guns and practices regularly.

Since her public spat with Trump, Greene opted to resign from Congress at the start of 2026. Greene stands by her voting record, which she reports to be 98% compatible with the president.

‘DISRESPECTED AND UNPROTECTED’: DOZENS OF LAWMAKERS ARE HEADING FOR THE EXITS EARLY

“My voting and legislation has always been conservative and unapologetically America First,” Greene wrote on X. “And Republicans need to take a hard look in the mirror and ask themselves, are you a mindless pawn taking orders or an elected Representative serving your district and their views and needs?”

The Washington Examiner reached out to the White House and the Capitol Police for comment.
