President Biden delivered a brief press conference from the White House on Monday after Supreme Court ruled in favor of presidential immunity for official acts. The president told multiple lies in a five-minute speech before wrapping up without taking any questions from reporters.

“For all practical purposes, today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what a President can do,” Biden claimed. “This is a fundamentally new principle, and it’s a dangerous precedent, because the power of the office will no longer be constrained by the law, even including the Supreme Court of the United States. The only limits will be self-imposed by the President alone.”

In the wake of the decision, the far-left has claimed that presidents now have the ability to act as dictators and do anything they want, an opinion that was firmly rejected by Chief Justice John Roberts, who explicitly stated that the ruling does not mean the president is “not above the law” in his opinion. The ruling merely concerns official acts, Roberts explained, meaning that the justices sent the case back to lower courts to determine if the acts at the center of Trump’s January 6 case were “official.”

This did not stop the dissenting justices — Kagan, Sotomayor and Jackson — from making a number of bizarre claims, including that presidents will be able to act as “kings” and be able to assassinate their political opponents.

President Biden repeated a number of the hyperbolic and false claims made by dissenting justices during his brief statement on Monday evening.

The president accused the nation’s highest court of continuing its, “attack in recent years on a wide range of long-established legal principles in our nation, from gutting voting rights and civil rights to taking away a woman’s right to choose, to today’s decision that undermines the rule of law of this nation.”

From there, Biden continued with a dark and divisive tone by repeating a number of lies concerning the January 6 Capitol protests.

“Nearly four years ago, my predecessor sent a violent mob to the U.S. Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power,” Biden said, ignoring the fact that Trump told his supporters to protest peacefully outside the Capitol Building.

“We all saw it with our own eyes. We sat there and watched it happen that day. An attack on the police, the ransacking of the Capitol, a mob literally hunting down the House Speaker,” he continued, failing to mention that Capitol Police sparked the disturbance by firing tear gas into a peaceful crowd, which ended up blowing back on their own officers and caused police lines to collapse.

The president also falsely claimed that the crowd wanted to hang Vice President Mike Pence by using a prop gallows made out of plywood.

“I think it’s fair to say is one of the darkest days in the history of America. Now the man who sent that mob to the U.S. Capitol is facing potential criminal conviction for what happened that day. And the American people deserve to have an answer in the courts before the upcoming election. The public has a right to know the answer about what happened on January 6th before they asked to vote again this year,” Biden continued. “Now, because of today’s decision, that is highly, highly unlikely. It’s a terrible disservice to the people of this nation. So now, now the American people have to do what the courts should have been willing to do but will not.”

He then called on the American people to reject former President Trump and render a judgement on whether, “Donald Trump’s assault on our democracy on January 6th makes him unfit for public office in the highest office in the land.”

A Florida judge unexpectedly released the transcripts of a 2006 grand jury investigation into Jeffrey Epstein on Monday afternoon. The transcripts delve into allegations of sex trafficking and rape against the late financier, stemming from incidents that initially surfaced in Palm Beach County.

The release could have marked the beginning and the end of the Epstein saga back in 2006. Instead, Epstein was only indicted on a single charge of prostitution 17 years ago. The documents, totaling about 150 pages, are now available to the public.

The decision to release these documents ahead of schedule was unexpected, especially since Circuit Judge Luis Delgado had a hearing planned for the following week to discuss the timing and method of their release. The move follows legislation signed by Governor Ron DeSantis in February, which permitted the release of these documents on Monday or at any later time as directed by Judge Delgado.

“The details in the record will be outrageous to decent people,” Delgado wrote in the court order. “The testimony taken by the Grand Jury concerns activity ranging from grossly unacceptable to rape — all of the conduct at issue is sexually deviant, disgusting, and criminal.”

Reid, known for her outlandish liberal commentary, made up a dire scenario where Trump’s reinstatement could lead to a total repeal of progressive 20th-century reforms. “This election is no longer about the old guy that’s in the White House now… It’s above me now. There’s a Waffle House next door. There’s a Best Western next door as well,” Reid ranted, dismissing current President Joe Biden’s role.

“Donald John Trump cannot be allowed back into the White House. Because if you combine that madman with this court, two of whose members are insurrectionists, one of whom flew an upside down flag at his home… You combine this court, two of whose members are going to immediately resign and put 30 year olds in there, including probably the guy who wrote the opinion in the beaters case, meaning that beaters should be able to get machine guns, which by the way, they have now arrogated to themselves the power to decide all federal rules, everything.”

“The century when super-rich white men, unchecked and untaxed, amassed great wealth, passed it down with no taxation to their descendants, and pretended that they had earned it on their own, that they were just masters of the universe,” Reid claimed. “They want that era back. They think that the 20th century was an abomination and they are dismantling it. They’re coming for every single one of our rights. They’re not done. They’re not done. If you love having your freedom, having the freedom for contraception, LGBTQ rights, that’s going too.”

Smith, the Biden Justice Department prosecutor, countered that Trump was acting as a private citizen when he allegedly took classified documents from the White House for his own personal possession and when he encouraged supporters to breach the Capitol in an attempt to prevent Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 election.

Moving forward, however, all former Presidents will be cloaked in such immunity. If the occupant of that office misuses official power for personal gain, the criminal law that the rest of us must abide will not provide a backstop.”

She finished, “With fear for our democracy, I dissent.”

They not only nailed the 2020 popular vote but also accurately captured the mood in 2022. Now, their data suggests a solidifying lead for Trump, placing him at 45.5% over Biden’s 40.3%, with Robert Kennedy Jr. picking up 10% of the vote as a third-party candidate.

In the aftermath of the debate, a retreat at Camp David was swiftly organized, where Biden’s closest family and advisors rallied to strategize and bolster his campaign. Besides environment, Biden only led in two other categories: health care and inequality.

“That, uh, attitude toward this is what I am saying slow down on because, again, there’s no spinning it, but let’s be balanced. Let’s for once show some balance in a media world that is so shrill with imbalance that we’ve become inured to these two candidates,” she finished before turning to another panelist.

In this scenario, some of the party’s top leaders — including former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, as well as congressional leaders like Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — would need to form a unified front in proposing to Biden that he step aside for the good of defeating Trump. “It would have to be the four of them collectively,” one source told the Daily Mail.

A wall of negative media coverage overwhelmed post-debate coverage as nearly all opinion columnists at the New York Times, Washington Post, and other staples of mainstream media declared Biden’s performance an unmitigated disaster. If he remains in the race, the 81-year-old will face off against Donald Trump one final time on September 10th in a debate that will be televised by ABC.
